IMPORTANT: If you live in an area that has been affected by a hurricane/inclement weather, your proctor may be operating on a modified schedule. Before deciding to travel, please make sure that your proctoring site is open and the roads are safe.
-Please visit your area's Department of Transportation and Department of Public Safety for important news about road conditions in your local area.
-You can find your proctor's contact information by:
1. Searching for the proctor at http://online.northcarolina.edu
2. By selecting the proctor from your favorites list within your UNC Online exam appointment window.
3. By clicking on "View Requirements" within an exam appointment that has already been scheduled in UNC Online.
NOTE: If necessary, your instructor can extend the exam window. Instructors can view instructions for extending the exam window at https://unconline.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/sections/201336866-Exam-Extensions-and-Make-Up-Exams. **Many instructors have already extended their exam windows. Please communicate with your instructor if you need an additional exam window extension.**
NOTE: If you missed an exam appointment, and your proctor has not yet cancelled the appointment, click the "Request Reschedule" button (located in the "Actions" row of the missed appointment). This action will release an emergency cancellation message to your proctor and UNC Online administrators. NOTE: If your exam is online, you can select the "Take Exam Via Webcam" option for the exam (it permit you to test from home). Please visit https://unconline.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/sections/201337426-Take-Exam-Via-Webcam to learn more about the "Take Exam Via Webcam" option.
NOTE: If you missed a "Take Exam Via Webcam" (ProctorU) appointment, and have not already received a refund or credit for the appointment, please send an email to email@example.com (include your full name, campus, appointment date/time and reason for the missed appointment in the body of your message).
