Academic terms are close, but not exactly the same between institutions. The academic term at your host institution might not coincide with the academic term at your home institution.
The host institution's calendar will determine all start and end dates as well as breaks for the course.
- You are responsible for ensuring that you can conform to the host institution's calendar.
- Dates for withdrawing, adding or dropping a course are determined by your home institution.
Your final grade from the host institution might not be available to your home institution until after the end of your home institution's academic term.
- You cannot request for the host institution to submit grades early (you are responsible for making other arrangements or speaking with your home institution registrar if you need the final grade to graduate on time).
