Credit Card Security: Duplicate Transaction & Card Declined
NOTE: Examity only accepts Visa, Mastercard, or American Express.
Duplicate Transaction Defined: A duplicate transaction is defined as a purchase from the same retailer/vendor for the same or similar amount, occurring within a short amount of time (e.g., scheduling exam appointments with Examity, for the same amount and within a short period of time).
Your credit card company has security measures in place to mitigate credit card fraud. That means, duplicate transactions are watched closely, such as the type of duplicate transactions that occur when you create multiple exam appointments with Examity and within a short period of time. Please Be Aware: If you make multiple, duplicate transactions within a short period of time, your credit card company will likely temporarily freeze your card, thus causing transactions to be declined.
To eliminate having your credit card frozen and your charges declined, separate the creation of your exam appointments with Examity by 2-3 hours or use a different credit card for each exam appointment.
