During the scheduling process, the student may find a proctor they are trying to select for the first time, or have scheduled with for another exam previously, is grayed out and not selectable for their current exam. To find out why this particular proctor is unavailable, the student needs to hover over the proctor to view a tooltip describing the reason.
The most common reasons you may be unable to select a proctor are:
- Your exam requires Close and Constant supervision, which this location cannot provide.
- Their proctor requires exams to be scheduled a certain amount of business days in advance. **If this is the case, the student can contact the proctoring location to request a scheduling override**
- The proctoring location doesn't have any openings during your exam window. This may be due to their hours of operation, or that they simply do not have any spots available. The student will need to contact the location to see if they would be interested in expanding their availability during your exam window or select an alternative location.
