When Should I Add Basic Exam Information Into UNC Online Exam Proctoring?
Please add basic exam information (to include: exam name, exam window, exam duration, exam type, and proctoring supervision type) into UNC Online Exam Proctoring during the first week of the semester (or the first day of summer session). By adding this information early in the semester/summer session, students are assured to have plenty of time to search for a proctor nearby, compare proctoring fees, and schedule their exam appointments.
To add exam information:
- Login to UNC Online Exam Proctoring by visiting http://proctors.northcarolina.edu
- Click on "Add Exam or Exam Details"
- Enter the information on the next page which includes: exam name, exam window, exam duration, exam type, and proctoring supervision type
- Click "Submit"
Be sure to enter the accurate duration it takes for students to complete each exam. If you miscalculate then students may not be able to finish the exam before the exam time ends or will finish it early. Please note: students, who use paid proctors, are charged a proctoring fee for the total time you allot for the exam, even if they they do not use it all.
NOTE: Exam materials, exam passwords, proctor instructions, etc. can be provided at a later date (at least five days prior to opening of the exam window).
