Proctors can return paper based exam materials to the faculty member by completing one the following actions:
1. The proctor will scan the exam and upload it to UNC Online Exam Proctoring. This action will permit the faculty member to download the exam from their UNC Online Exam Proctoring account. This is the preferred method of exam return (it creates a strong electronic paper trail for returned paper based exams).
2. The proctor will scan the exam and email the exam to the faculty member.
3. The proctor will fax the exam to the faculty member (the faculty member must provide a fax number with the exam details; the fax number is located on the cover sheet).
Paper based exam materials are not returned via snail mail.
Proctors are encouraged to keep hard copies of exams for 2-3 weeks and then destroy.
If an exam is not returned to a faculty member, the faculty member must contact the proctor regarding the missing exam. Faculty members can access proctors' contact information via their UNC Online Exam Proctoring "Class Roster" tabs.
