There is not a 24 hour support line for the proctoring network. Messages and calls will be answered as soon as a staff member is available. Typically, inquiries submitted after regular business hours, during holidays and on weekends are answered on the next business day.
The proctor (not the student) should immediately contact the faculty member if a student is experiencing a technical issue with an online exam and/or if there are questions about exam instructions.
The faculty member's emergency contact information is included on the proctor instruction sheet. Proctors must log into UNC Online (http://proctors.northcarolina.edu) to download the proctor instruction sheet.
Only the faculty member has access to their learning management system (Blackboard, Canvas, Moodle, etc...) and exam. For example, the faculty member can log into Canvas to reset their exam and/or confirm the correct exam password. Proctors should not share or discuss exam passwords with students.
