Contacting UNC Online
For questions about exam instructions... The proctor (not the student) should immediately contact the instructor if you have questions about exam instructions. The instructor's emergency contact information is included on the proctor instruction sheet. Proctors must log into UNC Online to download the proctor instruction sheet.
If the student is experiencing technical issues.... (e.g., computer shuts down) then the proctor should finalize the appointment "with issues." See details on how to finalize by clicking here.
Create a Ticket
For assistance with exam proctoring please log into UNC Online and click on "Contact" to create a ticket.
If you cannot log into UNC Online then you can still submit a ticket. Click here to learn how.
The ticketing system will route your question to the correct contact person and will allow the entire UNC Online team to view the ticket.
How do I submit a ticket?
- Visit http://online.northcarolina.edu
- Click "Login" (located in the upper right corner)
- Select the appropriate category
- Enter your credentials
- Click "Contact" (located at the top of the page)
NOTE: There is not a 24 hour support line for the exam proctoring network. Tickets will be answered as soon as a staff member is available, typically within 24 hours. Typically, inquiries submitted on weekends or holidays are answered on the next business day.
