What are the different exam scheduling (calendar) modes?
Proctors can select from three exam scheduling modes. Each exam scheduling mode requires students to schedule exam appointments through UNC Online and proctors to download exam materials from UNC Online.
Proctors can view or change their scheduling preference at any time via the "Settings" tab.
Online - Manual
I would like to use the calendar function and post my proctoring site availability and capacity. I will then manually approve requests under the 'Appointments' tab. This scheduling mode will prevent unconfirmed appointments.
Online - Automatic
I would like to use the calendar function, which will allow the student to schedule appointments automatically according to my proctoring site availability and capacity.
Offline - NOTE: When UNC Online's new user interface is available, this calendaring mode will be eliminated from the proctoring system due to issues with student exam scheduling. Proctoring licenses will be required to utilize either "Online-Manual" or "Online-Automatic."
