Elementary Mathematics Add-on Licensure (EMAoL) Exchange
The EMAoL Exchange is a collaboration between East Carolina University, UNC Charlotte, UNC Greensboro and UNC Wilmington. It expands the number and diversity of online math courses available to UNC System students that participate in the EMAoL program.
The EMAoL Exchange includes the following guidelines:
- Each participating university agrees to offer up to two of the six courses in an online format blending synchronous and asynchronous instruction.
- Up to fifteen students from each university may participate in a cohort course through each home university depending on availability.
- Course enrollment will be capped at 21 students unless an instructor agrees to other arrangements. Enrollment will be balanced among the four institutions as needed.
- Each participating university will tag EMAoL students and EMAoL courses (this process ensures that only EMAoL students will be able to register for EMAoL courses).
