A course you are attempting to drop or register for can have a pending status. There are many reasons for pending courses (holds, course equivalency issues, registration windows, drop policies, technical errors, etc...). Log into UNC Online (courses.northcarolina.edu) and click "Basket" or "My Registered Courses" to view details about your pending course.
UNC Online automatically notifies registrars and UNC Online staff members about pending courses. They will process the pending course if action is not required from you.
