You must log into UNC Online Exam Proctoring to reschedule or cancel your exam appointment. If possible, cancel or reschedule your exam appointment (at a minimum) 24 business hours in advance. The "Reschedule" button and "Cancel" button are located in the "Actions" row of your scheduled exam appointment.
If you prepaid for your exam appointment, please contact the proctor to discuss their refund policy. You can access the proctor's contact information by clicking on the "View Requirement" buttons (located in the "Actions" row of the scheduled appointment).
If you missed your appointment, the proctor must finalize the missed exam appointment as "No Show" or "Cancelled". This action will permit the "Reschedule" button to appear in your UNC Online Exam Proctoring account (if the exam window is still open). You can send the proctor a reminder message to finalize your exam appointment by clicking on the "Request Reschedule" button*.
If your exam window has closed, you must request an exam extension from your instructor (only your instructor can extend the exam window). Your instructor can view instructions for extending the exam window at https://unconline.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/206305063-How-do-I-extend-an-exam-window-for-an-individual-student-. After your instructor extends the exam window (and, if necessary, the proctor finalizes your missed exam appointment) the "Reschedule" button will appear in your UNC Online Exam Proctoring account.
The rescheduling process will automatically release your exam materials to the proctor's UNC Online Exam Proctoring account and list the exam appointment in your instructor's UNC Online Exam Proctoring "Class Roster" tab.
* The "Request Reschedule" button is not available for webcam exam appointments. If you miss a webcam appointment, and the proctor has not yet cancelled your exam appointment, you must contact the webcam proctor for assistance.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org (include email@example.com on the message) to request for the webcam proctor to cancel your exam appointment. Send the email from your university email account and include your name, school, the date and time of your exam appointment. Also, confirm if you would like a credit or refund for the exam appointment.
Your must cancel or reschedule your webcam exam appointment 24 hours in advance. If you fail to show up for your exam appointment without notice, you will not be eligible for a refund.
If you cancel your webcam exam appointment 24 hours in advance of your exam appointment then you can send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org to request a refund. Please include your name, school, the date and time of your exam appointment and reason you missed the exam appointment.
